Jon King Named Quality Director of Redmond Regional Medical Center

Rome, GA; Jon King has been named Quality Director for Redmond Regional Medical Center. In his new role, King will provide direction and oversight for the continuous improvement of patient care services through consultation, data collection, analysis and facilitation of best practices.
King has worked in healthcare for over 30 years and previously served in the WellStar Healthcare System in various roles including Operations Director, Operations Manager and Performance Improvement Coordinator.
King holds a master’s degree in Health Services Administration, a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Health Services Management and an Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services.
Of his new role King says, “I’m here to make sure we do the right thing and do the right thing well. I’m excited for this new opportunity to positively impact the care of every patient and the job of every employee at Redmond.”
Outside of work, King serves as a driving instructor for the Safe America Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to injury prevention by providing state mandated driving instruction to new teen drivers.
King and his wife, Becky, reside in Dallas, GA.
